It's been a ground breaking week in space exploration! A week ago Blue Origin successfully launched and landed a reusable rocket (and capsule) for the first time, and Tuesday Virgin Orbit successfully launched satellites to space from a rocket carried by a 747. Meanwhile, NASA test fired the Space Launch System (SLS) engines, and Space X prepared Starship SN9 for it's next test fire (while also breaking records with the already reusable Falcon 9 and preparing two sea-based launch and landing pads). The ability to get to space more easily and more often is transforming many industries and the variety of jobs focused on space (or impacted by space technology) is growing every year. ARES Learning is committed to preparing cadets for a meaningful role in our increasingly spacefaring economy - and in humanity's multi-planet future.
